Purpose and Goals
It is the purpose of the Historical Radio Society of Western Sweden, through its Museum, to
- preserve knowledge of the development of radio engineering for new generations
- gather and study documents illustrating the history of radio
- work for the establishment and maintenance of a historical radio museum in Western Sweden
- collect objects for the historical radio collections
- maintain and restore the objects in the collections
- increase awareness of the existence of the historical radio collections
- keep the collections open to the general public
